He's "Exceptional" and He has "Promise to Love." Greetings, my fellow Christian warriors! For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. (John 3:16). Now, that's God. Babyface sings "Exceptional," and Kem sings "Promise to Love." My point, these are two beautiful songs and would be great for a wedding, but for those of us without that special someone, please never negate the fact that God loved us first. The Lord has promised never to leave or forsake us. The Lord is truly “Exceptional.” And well, He’s expecting a return. His expectations are not grievous. Some may think so. The Lord wants to be your first, the last, and your everything. Sounds like Barry White to me, but I am talking about the Lord. In order words, the Lord wants us to keep Him First. He wants to be our dream boat whether we can swim or just float. He's promised to provide everything we've in need of, if we seek the kingdom of God first and His righteousness. Matthew 6:33 It takes some kind of faith to live under these circumstances. But let's face it; we are to walk by faith and not by sight. II Corinthians 5:7.
