Let not your heart be troubled. John 14:1. In other words, don't worry trust God. Greetings, my fellow Christian warriors. Our Lord Jesus told His disciples to let not your hearts be troubled. You believe in God, believe also in me. Jesus was preparing them because His hour was about to come. The trauma, the death awaiting Jesus, and the disciples future without His physical presence was enough that the Lord knew encouragement was in order. This morning some of you/us may be starting our day in a "Not so Positive" situation. The challenge ahead may be a difficult boss, co-workers, job search, traffic, children, school, or possibly health challenges for yourself or love one; no matter the challenges ahead today, let not your heart be troubled. Trust God and tell Him about it. Although, He knows our hurts and pain, challenges and strain, He still wants us to seek Him. Let Him fight your battles today. We must in order for our day to be most productive. Vengeance belongs to God. So we're not in the business of pay backs. However, we're still on the battlefield. Therefore, we need to take out your weapons: prayer, meditation on the word of God, faith, hope and trusting His Word. How can we lose? Look at what we use. We cannot be afraid. As Paul said, we have not been given a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. The enemy (that old devil) comes to kill, steal and destroy. He's described as a roaring lion; sounds deadly to me. The great news: Jesus came that we could have life, and have it more abundantly. Let’s make our day an abundant one. We are more than a conqueror & we got the power!
