Where's your faith today? Greetings, my fellow Christian warriors! You know so much can happen to us in the course of a day, week, month, and years that are good and not so good. The not so good can be enough to derail or weaken our faith if we're not careful. Oftentimes our faith in God's ability is still there, but with all the disappointments, we may live under a shadow of depression or we may become a little apathetic. Take heart my friend. Find joy (and keep joy) in knowing that the Lord will not give us; more than we can bear. There's no need to worry, and there's no need to fret. Jesus said Matthews 6:25-34, that the Father knows what we need. The Lord wants us to seek His kingdom first and His righteousness and everything else will be added to us. Comforting thought this is. The devil would like nothing more than to see us get discouraged to a point of slipping as Christians: short cuts to a better life, worry, anxiety, fear, anger jealousy; all of these adverse character traits are just examples of possible results when we lose sight of our prize in Christ. Listen, the devil is a lie and the father of lies. We are a royal priesthood, peculiar people, and a holy nation. Such thoughts: let's allow the love God has for us to soak into our mind. Bask in the thought of who and whose you are always. Let's not forget that we have weapons to ward off any negative thoughts: prayer, meditate and study the Word, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. We have a powerful arsenal! (We have each other too). Now, who are we? We are more than a conqueror & we got the power!
