Jesus commanded us to PREACH the gospel:

Mark 16:15  And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Mark 16:16  He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

What is the GOSPEL?

1 Corinthians 15:1  Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 1 Corinthians 15:2  By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.  1 Corinthians 15:3  For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 1 Corinthians 15:4  And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

The gospel is the good news of how Jesus died for our sins, was buried and rose again the third day.

To Be Saved One Must HEAR That Gospel:

Acts 15:7 ...Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and Brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the gospel, and believe.  

To Be Saved One Must BELIEVE That Gospel:

Heb 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Acts 15:7 ...Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and Brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the gospel, and believe. 

To Be Saved One Must REPENT of His or Her Sins:

Luke 13:3  I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost

To Be Saved One Must CONFESS his belief that Jesus is the son of God before Men:

Matt 10:32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. 

Acts 8:37  And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

To Be Saved One Must BE BAPTIZED for the remission of sins, to wash away sins, and to obey the gospel:   

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Romans 6:3  Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?  Romans 6:4  Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. Romans 6:5  For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: Romans 6:6  Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

The Lord Will ADD the Saved to the church of Christ, the only one you can read about in the bible:

Act 2:47  Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

After Baptism and Being Added to the One Church, the Christian must live FAITHFUL UNTO DEATH:

Revelation 2:10  Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
