Our Aim and Purpose

We are delighted that you have chosen to visit our site. The aim and purpose of the Church of Christ is to be in the 21st Century what Christ's followers were in the 1st Century. Therefore the bible is our guide. Our motto is: "to speak where the Bible speaks, and to remain silent where the Bible is silent; to call Bible things by Bible names and to do Bible things in Bible ways."

This is not only a wise motto, but it is rooted in the scripture. In 1 Peter 4: 11, Peter says if any man speak let him speak as of the oracles of God?., and John wrote in II John 9 that whosoever transgresseth and abideth not in the doctrine (teachings) of Christ hath not God. But he that abideth in the teachings of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. We believe that by following strictly this principle we can in our lifetime identify the church Christ built; its name, its form of worship, its government, its work, its organization, and its plan of salvation.

The Highland Heights Church of Christ is not similar to but identical in every way to the church we read about in the new testament. We invite you to search your bible in light of these facts that you may determine whether these things are so.

Salute one another with an holy kiss, the Churches of Christ salute you.
