The curriculum of Southwest School of Bible Studies has been separated into four academic divisions. These are totally integrated to fashion one of the most extensive and thorough Bible programs to be offered anywhere. They include: The Division of Bible Exposition, The Division of Bible Studies, The Division of Bible Doctrine & Apologetics, and The Division of Bible Preaching.

Bible Exposition
The purpose of the DIVISION OF BIBLE STUDIES is to equip the student with knowledge and discernment necessary to do accurate exegetical work in the Old and New Testaments. In order to accomplish this purpose an emphasis is placed in the areas of Bible Interpretation (Hermeneutics); Greek, Bible Geography and Archaeology, Church and Restoration History, as well as Principles of Biblical Guidance. This division also includes structured courses in personal and professional development.
Bible Studies
The purpose of the DIVISION OF BIBLE STUDIES is to equip the student with knowledge and discernment necessary to do accurate exegetical work in the Old and New Testaments. In order to accomplish this purpose an emphasis is placed in the areas of Bible Interpretation (Hermeneutics); Greek, Bible Geography and Archaeology, Church and Restoration History, as well as Principles of Biblical Guidance. This division also includes structured courses in personal and professional development.
Bible Doctrine & Apologetics
The purpose of the DIVISION OF BIBLE DOCTRINE & APOLOGETICS is to introduce students to the great teachings of Scripture in an organized, analytic and systematic manner. Teachings such as the New Testament Church, The Doctrine of Prophecy (Eschatology), and Apologetics will be studied in depth. The Apologetics sequence at Southwest is one of the most comprehensive such courses of study anywhere. The following required Apologetics courses are offered: Christian Evidences, the Messiahship of Jesus, and Christianity vs. Secular Philosophy. Also, the course on Christian Doctrine serves to introduce the student to the field of basic Christian teaching.

The purpose of the DIVISION OF BIBLE PREACHING is to equip students to communicate biblical truth as gospel preachers and to assist the student in doing the work of an evangelist.
